Empathy Belly

Carolyn and Jason may not have found every minute of Labor & delivery Class helpful, but I am sure glad they went through it because how else would we have seen this picture of Jason!

My dream

I was standing looking down at my stomach. I could see the full face - eyes, nose, mouth. He looked up at me and said, "Hi, Mommy".

And the fun continues...

Carolyn's second day back at work after the fall resulted in another fun joke. Don was on his game with the pranks! Luckily Carolyn was up for the jokes too!

As you can tell these pictures are also post fall. Just a little joke at Carolyn's expense. Though she was fully onboard with us poking fun at her instead of pitying.

ISn't she cute! And don't you love her maternity wear. This is post fall last week and so she would love to be looking at the camera, but that is as far as her neck would turn.

Big Spill Continued

So as you saw me post last week, Carolyn had a big fall in the office. She was then out for a couple of days laying around in agonizing pain. She also had to go to a doc in the box 3 different times for workers comp paperwork. But each day she can turn her head a little bit more. On Monday after the fall she also had to go into Ob/Triage in order to get checked out. They did an ultrasound and hooked her up to all of the machines to see how Baby Dwyer was, and he was great.

So when she returned to work the pranks began. Please enjoy these pictures below, we all had a good laugh at Carolyn's expense and she was glad we were laughing instead of giving her looks of pity.

The life of a pregnant woman is awful dramatic...

And today Carolyn scared the entire office...and I mean the entire office. People from all corners of the Administrative offices came running. As Carolyn walked in her office she took a big spill and I mean big. She landed flat on her back and hit her head so hard. Now those of you who are familiar with Carolyn's squeals of pain (she has many due to her shoulder and neck pain)...know that this squeal was completly different. It was terrifying. But little bunny or nigel as some call Baby Dwyer he just got going. He felt his Mama's adrenaline and decided it was a good time for a work out...the spill didn't phase him the least. So now that Carolyn is in the homestretch and pregnancy is only getting to be more and more work everyday, she is going to also have to deal with neck pain. I guess she can say goodbye to a good nights sleep for the rest of her life.

Some days...

Even now in the third trimester you would think that Carolyn would be used to eating. But no, Carolyn still has days where she realizes that she has not consumed enough food and her body lets her know by making her feel like sh*t. Then there are days when she is doing fine eating and runs into a questionable smell and then she is sent running for a garbage can as she throws up in the middle of the hallway. It happened and there were witnesses. Monica siad' "that's going to ruin my oatmeal."

Jason's been shopping!
